ASUS nVidia Geforce GT 630 Graphics Card

I brought myself a new graphics card in a sale at pc world at the weekend. my old card was a 9800 gtx, I’ve seen lots of reviews on this card and when i saw this one so cheap i couldn’t resist. its a very good card so far I’ve not had a bottle neck and everything runs so smooth even with ultra high graphics settings. My 9800 was a good card but i had so many graphics glitches it was unbelievable. Anyways this was a short update catch ya later

Aluminium Bluetooth iPad Keyboard

For christmas I got A new keyboard for my iPad. the first thing i noticed about it is that the response times and sensitivity is much much better than my other keyboard which was coated in rubber. The keyboard has rubber pads on the topside so that when you are storing your iPad with the keyboard it helps with the protection of the keyboard over the screen. I now just carry my iPad around in a neoprene sleeve to protect everything together. Do you use any bluetooth accessories with your iOS devices?

WordPress Update, Fixed

It seems that the javascript coding of some themes interfere with alot of wordpress’s backend coding and if there is a conflict it can disable alot of wordpress features and visuals, all you have todo is insert “define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );” into your wp-config file and your away again.

Thanks to the excellent support forums over on WordPress.Org

Nas4Free

Nas 4 Free is a free open source storage solution, the footprint of this operating system is so small that if you wanted you could actually run this whole system from a 1GB usb stick, If the computer you where going to use supported USB Boot. Ive been using one of these sstems for a few weeks now, not only can you mount any and all hard drives you can also set up iTunes Servers FTP, Samba and even a basic Webserver. You can configure everything from the built in WebGUI

Extra services:

  • UPnP server (FUPPES)
  • iTunes/DAAP server (Firefly)
  • Webserver (Lighttpd)
  • Network Bandwidth measure (IPERF)
  • BitTorrent client (Transmission)

For an extensive list of features Click Here I would highly recommend this, im running mine under a VPS on a home server as I have a number of other services running and needed a Windows environment to achieve it all.
